Budding Picasso’s

Arts and crafts, stories and songs are just a few of the “creative enhancers” awaiting your child.  This class can get a little messy, so please dress your child in play clothes.  Parents are welcome to stay and participate in the fun.

On My Own
This class is designed for children who need some experience with classroom time before entering preschool.  It's a transition class by which parents and child can ease into the idea of seperation.  Parents are required to stay for the first class when discussion of their involvement with the class will be addressed.  Parent helpers will be needed and can sign up on the first day of class.  Activities will include circle time, songs, finger plays, storytime and a snack provided by the helping parent.

Parents Afternoon Away

This is a great opportunity for parents to let your little ones spend the afternoon and give themselves a break. We’ll have a terrific time playing together in a semi-structured class filled with fun activities.  The children will start each class with a picnic lunch, arts and crafts, games and songs. Please bring a sack lunch and a drink to each class.   Note:  Children must be toilet trained.

Tiny Tot Sports

This is the perfect class for sports fans.  Your child will play a variety of sports and physical activities such as soccer, basketball, tee ball, tumbling and more.  While your child is having fun and learning they will also enhance their coordination, knowledge and abilities.

Parent’s Morning Away

Confidently leave your child in a semi-structured classroom and you will enjoy some well-deserved free time.  Your child will play games, make simple crafts and have a choice activity time.  Please bring a snack with a drink.  Note: Children must be toilet trained.  No class Thurs 07/04.

Preschoolers Extend the Day- Spring 2013 Session

Looking for a little extra time after preschool?  This is the class you have been waiting for!  After enjoying a sack lunch and juice brought from home, preschoolers will head over to the mat room to burn off some energy.  Focus will be on physical activity and fun!  Preschoolers who are enrolled in Howard Leisure Center Bright Beginnings Preschool can be walked over to the lower level classroom.  Please note:  Your child does not have to be enrolled in Bright Beginnings Preschool to participate in this program.
