Bright Beginnings Preschool
Niles Park District Bright Beginnings Preschool is guided by the philosophy of “learning through play”. Guided or self-initiated, we believe play is an essential component in developing the whole child. Under the guidance of our qualified teachers, children will learn to follow directions, share with others, and adapt to a group setting. The school-year curriculum will introduce children to a broad variety of experiences in a safe and stimulating environment. Activities in art, music, movement, games, storytelling and dramatic play will help nurture the development of self-control, physical coordination and social & cognitive skills. By implementing our philosophy, we hope to provide each child with an enjoyable, stimulating and productive preschool experience, thereby easing the transition into kindergarten.
Niles Park District Bright Beginnings Preschool is certified by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and all the staff meets the qualifications set forth by this agency. Maximum staff to student ratio is 1:10. Bright Beginnings Preschool follows a calendar similiar to the area schools, including a two-week winter break, a one-week spring break, and other public holiday closings.
