T-BALL FOR BOYS & GIRLS This program is an excellent introduction for boys and girls who are not yet old enough to play in the Niles Baseball League. All participants will be awarded a trophy. Players will also participate in the Opening Day Parade on May 11. An organized clinic is on April 20. Volunteer coaches are needed. Gym shoes, baseball glove and baseball pants must be purchased and brought to all practices and games. Park District will provide a t-shirt and a major league replica hat. A coach meeting will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24 at Grennan Heights. Registration deadline is April 20. That’s not a problem with our instructional Coach Pitch. Your son/daughter will get to learn the fundamentals of the game while having a blast. Limited use of tees. There are 3 divisions in which to play. Teams will be guaranteed 6 games. Games will be played starting Saturday, July 20 and will end Sunday, August 4. Registration deadline is July 12. Who: 10 & under Code: 320804-02 12 & under Code: 320804-04 14 & under Code: 320804-06 Where: Baseball Diamonds within Niles Park District When: 07/20-08/04 Fee: $595 per team FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE Niles Park District will be offering a Fall Baseball League this year. This year we will have 2 different leagues for the 10u, 12u and 14u age groups. All 8u teams will be placed in the same league. For the 10u, 12u and 14u divisions, teams will have the option of joining the MAJOR LEAGUE DIVISION or MINOR LEAGUE DIVISION. Major League teams are full time or mostly full time travel teams. These league games will be more competitive. The Minor League division is for teams who don't play full time travel or have only a few kids who do. Players who sign up individually will be placed into the Minor League Division. Depending on enrollment numbers, these leagues may be combined into one and just broken up into seperate conferences. Games will be played on Friday's, Saturday's & Sunday's at our different baseball fields in Niles. Each player will receive a jersey & hat which must be worn to all games. Sign up as a team or individual. Your schedule will consist of at least 8 games. Registration deadline is July 26.
