GIRL’S SOFTBALL

Niles Park District is proud to offer a wide variety of softball teams for your daughter. Look for the leagues which match your child’s grade as of the 2012-13 school year. The District will provide each player with socks, visor and jersey. Each participant must supply pants and bring shoes and a glove to each game.  A coach meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 at Grennan Heights.  Registration deadline is March 22.  Leagues may be combined with surrounding communities which include Lincolnwood, Skokie and Morton Grove.  Schedule will consist of home and away games in Niles and surrounding communities.

 

Instructional Division

Young softball players learn individual and team play. All players will experience pitching and hitting for the first time under a no pressure fun environment.  This is a great starter program for your daughter.  Opening Day Parade and Opening Games held on Saturday, 05/11.

GIRL'S HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL

This is the ideal league for girls looking to continue playing softball after school is over. Enjoy the summer with old school friends and a great chance to meet new ones. Girls may sign up as a team or as an individual.  Each team will play a minimum of 10-12 games plus playoffs.  Games are played on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights. Coaches meeting is 7:00 p.m. at Golf View Rec Center on Thursday, June 6.  Registration deadline is June 3.  Any questions please contact the Athletic Offices at (847) 967-1529.
