As of March 26, 2020 the Niles Park District’s COVID-19 guidelines in addition to the closure of all facilities and playgrounds will now include the closure of all basketball courts and tennis courts to discourage large group gatherings. At this time parks do remain open for walking or jogging as long as people refrain from gathering in groups and maintain the 6 foot social distancing guideline issued by the CDC. While we want our residents to enjoy Niles Parks, we request that you do so to comply with the social distancing guidelines so the District will not need to expand park closures.
The Administration and Maintenance Departments are working as needed in order to maintain the most critical functions of the District. Phones will not be answered but you may leave a message. You can also e-mail us at if you have any questions.
The Park District will be monitoring the COVID-19 developments closely and will update you when we plan to resume operations through our website, social media, and e-mail. We thank everyone for your patience and cooperation during this unprecedented time. Please take care of yourself and stay healthy.
