WELCOME TO SUMMER CAMP 2022


       Welcome to Niles Park District Summer Camp Program!  The Niles Park District is required to follow
       the Illinois Department of Health and the Cook County Department of Public Health guidelines.


       CAMP SESSIONS                      Important Camp Information

       Participant must register for the full  Registration Information
       1-week session.  Fees are to be paid in
       full at the time of registration.  • Camp will be offered in weekly sessions. Participants must register for the full week(s).
                                          • Once camps are full, your name will be put on a waiting list.
       Session 1:  June 6-10
                                          How to Register
       Session 2:  June 13-17
                                          • Camp registration is done by email to robin@niles-parks.org.  Or in person at the Howard Leisure Center,
       Session 3:  June 20-24              6676 W. Howard Street.  Excludes camps at IceLand.
       Session 4:  June 27-July 1         • Register by filling out the Camp Registration Form.
       Session 5:  July 5-8               • Credit card payment must be included on the form in order to register.
       Session 6:  July 11-15             Registration Deadline
       Session 7:  July 18-22             • Campers must be registered by 5:00 pm, the Thursday prior to the session start date.  A $25 late fee will
       Session 8:  July 25-29              be charged if registered the Friday before the session start date.
       Session 9:  August 1-5
                                          Refund Policy
       Session 10:  August 8-12
                                          To withdraw from a session of camp and receive a refund, a request must be made by 5:00 pm the Thursday prior to
                                          the start of the session. A $25 per camper service charge is applied to all refund requests.
       CAMP LOCATIONS                     Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
                                          Drop Off: Children must be signed in and dropped off at their designated camp site no earlier than 5 minutes prior to
       & HOURS                            the start of camp.  If dropped off earlier than 5 minutes before the start of camp, a fee will be incurred.

                                          Campers will need to bring their own bagged and labeled lunch, along with snacks and water bottles every day.
                                          Touchless water bottle fillers are on-site.  Every lunch item and snack item packed should be something that can be

                                          IMPORTANT: Niles Park District is a PEANUT FREE ZONE. Please do not send a lunch or snacks which contain
                                          peanut butter, Nutella, peanuts, peanut oils, tree nuts, processed in a facility with nuts or on shared equipment.

                                          Sunscreen
                                          Apply sunscreen to your camper prior to arrival at camp.  A bottle of sunscreen should be brought to camp daily.
                                          Campers will be responsible for the re-application of sunscreen to themselves.  Counselors will give reminders
                                          throughout the day.
