WELCOME TO SUMMER CAMP 2024
CAMP SESSIONS Important Camp Information
Participant must register for the full REGISTRATION INFORMATION
1-week session. Fees are to be paid in
full at the time of registration. No camp • Camp will be offered in weekly sessions. Participants must register for the full week(s).
Thursday, July 4. • Once camps are full, your name will be put on a waiting list.
HOW TO REGISTER
Session 1: June 3-7
• Register by filling out the Camp Registration Form.
Session 2: June 10-14
• Camp registration is done by emailing form to robin@niles-parks.org. Or in person at the Howard Leisure Center,
Session 3: June 17-21 6676 W. Howard Street (Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm). Excludes camps at IceLand.
Session 4: June 24-28 • Credit card payment must be included on the form in order to register.
Session 5: July 1-5
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Session 6: July 8-12 • Campers must be registered by 5:00 pm, the Thursday prior to the session start date. A $25 late fee will

REFUND POLICY
Session 9: July 29-August 2
To withdraw from a session of camp and receive a refund, a request must be made by 5:00 pm the Thursday prior to the

start of the session. A $25 per camper, per session, service charge is applied to all refund requests. Refunds will not be

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
CAMP LOCATIONS Drop Off: Campers will be signed in by staff or parents, and dropped off at their designated camp site no earlier than 5
minutes prior to the start of camp.

LUNCH & SNACK

REC/SPORTS CAMP- Campers will need to bring their own bagged and labeled lunch, along with snacks and water
Ages 3-6 bottles every day. Touchless water bottle fillers are on-site. Every lunch item and snack item packed should be something
9:00 am-1:00 pm that can be disposed of. Lunch and snacks should be ready to eat. Lunches can be refrigerated. We recommend packing
9:00 am-4:00 pm additional snacks, no snacks will be provided.
EARLY CHILDHOOD CAMP- Campers should bring a lunch, snack and drink daily.
CAMP STAFF IMPORTANT: Niles Park District is a NUT FREE ZONE. Please do not send a lunch or snacks which contain peanut butter,
Nutella, peanuts, peanut oils, tree nuts, processed in a facility with nuts or on shared equipment.
Niles Park District has selected
qualified counselors who are CELL PHONES & ELECTRONICS
friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, and Niles Park District is not responsible for damages, lost or stolen items at camp. The idea of camp is to unplug and focus on
passionate about their position. the planned fun and engaging activities while at camp. Please encourage your camper to leave those valuables at home..
SUNSCREEN
Apply sunscreen to your camper prior to arrival at camp. A spray bottle of sunscreen should be brought to camp daily.
Campers will be responsible for the re-application of sunscreen to themselves. Counselors will give reminders throughout
the day.
