L=Level of Ability
Junior Class Descriptions:
Quick Starters (Level 1): Players just starting to play tennis.
Hot Shots (Level 2): Player has little experience playing tennis, needs stroke development. Player is still working on getting the ball into play and is learning game scoring and rules.
Future Stars (Level 3): 1 hour class. Can sustain a short rally at slow pace with other players of similiar ability. Strokes are still developing, knows game rules of tennis.
Future Stars (Level 3.5-4): 1.5 hours. Can sustain a short rally at slow pace with other players of similiar ability. Strokes are still developing, knows game rules of tennis. Has minimial tournament experience or moved from Level 3 by coach.
JTT Girls High School: 1.5 hours. Individual player can sustain a consistent rally and can serve and maintain a higher level of competition. Has minimial tournament experience and has preapproval from a tennis professional.
Challengers (Level 4.5): Player has improved consistently with medium pace and is developing ability to control directions of the ball. This level may play lower level tournaments and junior varsity high school.
Champions (Level 5): Level is required to possess consistent ground strokes with depth and directional control. Has control of serves, use of lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys. Individual can compete at high school varsity level.

Adult Class Descriptions:
Mixed Beginners (Level 1-1.5): This co-ed class is for players with little or no tennis experience and will focus on basic skills including backhand and forehand ground strokes, serves, and keeping score.
Mixed Advanced Beginners (Level 2-2.5): A co-ed class for players who have already developed some fundamental skills and can keep the ball in play with some consistency. Designed for players who are ready to learn volleys, strategy and shot placement, and are comfortable keeping score.
Mixed Advanced Drill & Play (Level 3.5): A co-ed class for advanced players who possess a high level of court awareness, technique, footwork and consistency.
*For any class that is not a Beginner Class- Player evaluations needed. Pros will assess players skill level set to insure proper class placement.
Special Events- February, March, April

LITTLE LADIES WINTER DANCE- 2 DATES! Friday, February 6 & Saturday, February 7
Girls 3-12 years & Adult
All little ladies are invited to attend this special evening with their special someone- dad, grandpa, uncle, or friend. Throughout the evening there will be dancing and a good time to be had by all. Dinner will include chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, mac n cheese, fruit and dessert. No refunds.

BREAKFAST WITH BUNNY- Saturday, March 21
Hop on over and enjoy a breakfast with Bunny at the Howard Leisure Center. Each child has the opportunity to meet with the Bunny and take pictures. All adults and children in attendance must pre-register for this event. Registration will not be accepted the day of the event.

SPRING EGG SCRAMBLE- Saturday, March 28

Bunny will scatter eggs filled with lots of goodies on the Tam Golf Course. Remember to bring a basket to collect your eggs. There will be complimentary refreshments for all to enjoy. FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT- Wednesday, April 1
Ages 5-12
Check in for your goodie bag before we hunt for eggs under the moonlight at Tam O'Shanter! Bring your flashlight and basket to collect your eggs and goodies. The event will end once the hunt is over. Parent must accompany child/children on the course for the hunt. All ages will hunt together. In case of inclement weather, event will not be rescheduled and refunds will be given. Registration will not be accepted the day of the event. 60 max per time slot.

Babysitting 101
Babysitting 101
Boys & Girls, Ages 11-15
This class will prepare participants for babysitting jobs or other positions that require them to supervise children in the absence of parents or guardians. Topics covered include: Child development stages, basic child care and first aid, safety, and leadership. All participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. Max of 10 participants.

Vince Thomas Basketball Clinics
Vince Thomas Basketball Training- SPRING SESSION
Vince Thomas runs a high-level clinic for boys and girls at all levels from beginner to travel players. The philosophy of the clinics is to focus on improving shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, and mental skills. The clinics are all about making your child a better basketball player while growing their love for the game.

Speed & Agility
Boys & Girls Grade 3-8
The Speed & Agility Skills Lab is a high-energy basketball camp designed to help young athletes improve their quickness, coordination, foot speed, and overall athletic performance, all while learning to translate those improvements directly into their game. This camp meets players where they are, whether they are just learning the game or already play competitively. Each session includes dynamic warm-ups, agility ladders, cone drills, defensive footwork, reaction time challenges and on the move ball handling, followed by fast-paced, small-sided games and team-based challenges that reinforce in-game application.

Play will consist of 7 on 7 indoors at LoVerde Center or outside at newly renovated Golf Mill Park. All players will receive a team jersey, and flags will be provided. Practices will be scheduled at the coach's discretion outside or on non-game days. Registration deadline is Friday March 20.

Sticky Fingers Cooking
Grade K-5
Your kids will have a blast every week discovering how easy and fun it is to cook tasty, healthy, globally inspired recipes! Our interactive cooking classes incorporate STEAM, culture, language, geography, history and more. Sticky Fingers Cooking offers young chefs the chance to explore exciting tastes, master culinary skills and nourish their bodies and minds. Our chef instructors bring all the ingredients, district approved equipment and supplies to lead an engaging, fun and interactive class. All allergies are accommodated, and recipes are nut free. Please note that recipes are subject to change based on our creative whim. We have all new recipes planned throughout the year. Min 8/Max 12. No class March 24.
