HARVEST HUSTLE 5K- Saturday, October 11
5K Run with Niles Park District!  Ages 1 and older are welcome to participate in our Annual 5K Harvest Hustle!  Pick up your number on race day.  Participation medals passed out at the end of race.  Please bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the Niles Food Pantry.  Register by October 10 at Noon.

TRUNK OR TREAT- Saturday, October 18
Ages 2 & Up
Join us for a Trunk or Treat anytime between the hours of 10:00-11:30 am at Oasis Fun Center.  This event is a fun way to enjoy Halloween.  Families will walk along our parking lot of decorated Park District, Village and local business vehicles and be given a treat.  Ghouls, ghosts and goblins are sure to enjoy a festive day!  Event will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.  Register by October 17.  Refunds will not be granted on special events.  Fee day of event is $20 per child, cash only, no goodie bag.

BOO BASH- Friday, October 24
Families, Ages 2 & Up
This special event is perfect for the whole family who want to experience some Halloween fun.  Enjoy a buffet dinner, pumpkin decorating, hay rides, and a Monster good time.  Each child will receive a goody bag!  Wear your costume and be prepared to move to the music.  Registration deadline is October 23.  All participants 2 & up must register for this event.  Register at the Howard Leisure Center, or call 847-967-6633.

HALLOWEEN PARADE & PARTY- Saturday, October 25
Ages 1-12
Get your costume ready for the annual Halloween Parade & Party.  Join us for a bewitching stroll from Oak Park (Main Street & Ottawa) to Grennan Heights.  Once at Grennan Heights there will be ghouly games, ghastly goodies, and spooky surprises!  Please register early for this popular event.  Pre-registration required.  Registration will not be accepted the day of event.  Refunds will not be granted.  Register at the Howard Leisure Center, or call 847-967-6633.

ICELAND SCARY SKATE- Saturday, October 25
Kids & Families
Celebrate Halloween with on ice games and prizes.  Gift bags to the first 75 kids.  Costume judging contest with prizes.  Skate rental is $6.00.
